Naturally colored blue akoya pearl strand necklace with a handcrafted clippy clasp and a pearl dangle accent.
Blue akoyas get their color by accident. Sort of. When the nucleus is inserted into the oyster, the process is very delicate and just a small error in positioning will cause the color to come out blue. Deliberate cultivation of blue akoya pearls is rare, most are still discovered by accident!
